That's when Nancy Gove, an outrigger canoe enthusiast and twenty-year resident of Hawaii, met Kent Clampitt, an entrepreneur, scientist, and process engineer. They found they all shared a love of natural foods and, specifically, the superlative sea salts that Molokai residents have harvested for centuries from the clean, clear waters in the channel between Molokai and Lanai.

So began a fascinating journey of research, discovery, and innovation that culminated in the birth of Hawaii Kai Corporation.
