Tokyo International Gift Show 2012 The largest international trade show in Japan features exhibits promoting personal gifts, consumer goods and decorative accessories. It draws 2,500 exhibitors in 4,100 booths, and Hawaii Kai was selected as one of the companies invited by the State of Hawaii to exhibit in the "Made in Hawaii Pavilion."

Tokyo International Gift Show 2013 This year, the Hawaii delegation doubled from 20 companies to 40. Hawaii Kai was again invited to participate, and its booth was staffed and managed by the sales and marketing team of one the company's local Japanese distributors.

South Korea Trade Mission TRADEWINDS ASIA 2013 Sponsored by the United States Commercial Service, Department of Commerce. This was the largest trade mission to South Korea from the USA; the largest participation came from Hawaiian companies and Hawaii Kai was selected to participate.

Hawaii Kai and the Molokai Community Excited Fifth Graders at Molokai's Kualapuu Charter School with their own Hawaii Kai Solar Seal evaporator. The evaporator was requested of Cameron Hiro, Hawaii Kai's salt farm manager and senior Salt Master, for educational purposes. Hawaii Kai delivered the evaporator and the students are already busy making their first batch of sea salt, while learning about the history, art, and science of Molokai salt making.
